Due to the Commonwealth Games being held on the Gold Coast in 2018, there will be some changes to the usual golfing calendar of the year. Some important event dates for 2018 are as follows:
Easter – 30 March (Good Friday) to 2 April (Easter Monday)
Commonwealth Games: Start 4 April and finish 15 April
Mother’s Day – 13 May
Division 1 Pennant will commence 4 March. Burleigh will host on 11 March. There will be a three week break over Easter and the Commonwealth Games, then another break for Mother’s Day, with the final on the 20 May.
Club Championships are effected by the break in the Division 1 Pennant schedule, and will be:
- Round 1 – Saturday 20 October
- Round 2 – Sunday 21 October
- Round 3 – Saturday 27 October
- Round 4 – Sunday 28 October
Burleigh Cup – Sunday 10 June
Club Match Play – Sunday 4 November (1st and 2nd Rounds)
Sunday 11th November – (Final)
