Please be advised that, as a trial, the grade split for Men’s and Medley competitions will be calculated daily through to Monday 26 January.
For the majority of the year, the set grade structure produces an even distribution of players across grades. However, at certain times of the year, most commonly during the festive period, Easter and public holidays, the mix of players can differ from the norm. On these occasions, fixed grade breaks may result in uneven grade sizes.
To ensure fair and balanced competitions, it is sometimes necessary to adjust grade breaks on the day to achieve a more even distribution of players per grade.
We hope this change enhances the overall competition experience for all members.
