Junior Golf
Burleigh Golf Club is proud to offer a vibrant Junior Program that provides opportunities for all young golfers who wish to be involved in this great game.
Before officially becoming a Junior Member, all applicants are required to attend an Induction Session. This session is designed to familiarise you with our facilities, rules, competitions, and the overall structure of our junior program. It will cover essential information on schedules, safety guidelines, expectations, and more. The induction also provides an excellent opportunity to ask questions and ensure you are well-prepared to make the most of your Junior Membership experience.
Please note that Junior and Cadet Memberships are currently at capacity. Interested applicants are encouraged to join our waitlist to be eligible for future membership opportunities.

Junior Membership
- Open to persons aged 17 years and under
- Eligible to hold a Golf Australia handicap.
- Full competition timesheet access (bookings from 7 days in advance. Excludes Saturday)
- Saturday competition access with Board approval
- Full use of the course on other days, and daily use of practice facilities and clubhouse facilities
- On reaching 18 years, may apply to be elected as a Youth Member
- Junior Development Program
- Joining Fees do not apply
Cadet Membership
- Open to persons aged 7-12 years of age
- Not eligible to hold a Golf Australia handicap
- Participate in the Cadet Junior Program
- Course access during ‘Social’ tee times
- Full use of practice and clubhouse facilities
- On reaching 13 years of age, may apply to transfer to Junior Membership
- Joining Fees do not apply
- MyGolf group coaching Tuesday, Thursday & Sundays. $160 per school term
MyGolf Coaching Program
MyGolf is the national junior golf program for kids. Delivered by Burleigh Golf Club’s PGA Professionals, the program provides an introduction to the skills of golf and playing on the course in a fun, inclusive and safe environment. Programs runs through each school term and during the holidays.
We have a range of classes available for beginners through to advanced players, ages 5-15 years.
2025 Burleigh Junior Classic
The Burleigh Junior Classic was contested on Sunday 15 June, attracting 103 of the region’s most talented junior golfers for one of the most prestigious junior events on the calendar.
Burleigh’s own Justin Wei delivered a standout performance, carding a superb 5-under-par 66. His remarkable round saw him claim victory by 4 shots, cementing his place among the top junior talents in the state.
Alicia Ludi, representing Sanctuary Cove Golf Club, showcased her composure and skill, firing a 1-under-par round to secure a dominant 5-shot win in the girls’ division.
We thank all competitors and their families for contributing to the success of this year’s Classic, and congratulate the winners on their outstanding achievements.
