Commencing Thursday 19 March, a change to the Internal Out of Bounds local rule on holes 12 and 14 will come into effect.
The key change for members is that the designated out of bounds area applies only to the tee shot. If a player’s stroke is made from the teeing area, the internal out of bounds rule remains in effect.
For all subsequent shots, once the player has left the teeing area, that same area is no longer out of bounds. The white stakes with black tops are then treated as immovable obstructions.
Members are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the updated local rule via the link below, on the Conditions Board outside the Pro Shop and on new signs at the tee of both holes.
